Three new species and new records of chigger mites (Acari: Trombiculidae) from East Hindukush, Pakistan

S U M M A R Y

Three new species, Trombicula stoliczkai n. sp., Microtrombicula humeroventrala n. sp., and M. tirichmirensis n. sp. are described from murid rodents collected in East Hindukush, Pakistan. Five species are recorded for the first time in Pakistan: Neotrombicula monticola Schluger & Davidov, 1967, Neotrombicula tianshana Shao & Wen, 1984, Neotrombicula lubrica Kudryashova, 1993, Shunsennia oudemansi (Schluger, 1955), and Cheladonta ikaoensis (Sasa, Sawada, Kano et al., 1951). Brunehaldia sp. is recorded for the first time in Pakistan.
